Matt has helped me a lot with regaining my good posture and also through sessions of massage with my back, arms, shoulders, legs etc.... I highly reccommend anyone requiring a good therapist to ease muscular ahes and pains/strains to go to Matt. He has a very friendly open manner which puts you very much at ease. Matt also gave me advice on how to help myself further through the use of yoga.....( Go on people ! He also made sensible recommendations to maximise the effect of the massage. I'll be back. [ 2010-04-21 ] [ Alan McGlashan ] I came to Mattie after having a horse riding accident which left me with a sore back and leg and as aresult difficulty walking. Mattie focused in on my back and spent a good proportion of our initial session in this area. As a result he managed to release a trapped ligament which was causing the pain in my leg and difficulty walking. Almost immediately the sharp pain disipated, and I had freedom to walk properly again. There did however remain some pain due to inflamation. He also worked out a lot of the taughtness that had built up in my back as well as the fluid building up in my lower back. The sum total is that within one session I was significantly improved. Mattie has great customer relations as a natural, as he follows up on his sessions through texting to ensure that his clients are ok after his sessions. We have had a few sessions since and Mattie has also given me a workout schedule to build on outwith his work. He provides a full service. Not only is his crafting excellent but also too his warm personality which greets you and relaxes you, not to mention his undoubted concern and interest in his clients. Over the years I have attended Chiropractors, and Accupuncturists, and although they have been very good in their own field they have never provided the full servie that Mattie offers. I have had many massages of varying quality over the years, but in truth I felt Matt was certainly one of the best. He is strong, but he uses that strength in broad deep gestures, which means he can really release the tensions. He also has, in my opinion a very caring energy about him. I felt at ease, and looked after for my one hour. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend him.
